7th & 8th grade ATHLETICS
Over the years, we have worked to build our program by encouraging high academic standards and strong, ethical sportsmanship. If you have any questions, you may reach our Athletic Office by calling (616) 455-1200 select Option 3.
All athletes must have a current physical - dated after April 15 of the previous school year - on file in the school Athletic Office before they will be allowed to tryout, practice, or compete in any sport.
For school year 2020-2021: Any returning 7th or 8th grader who has a physical on file from last year only need to complete and turn in this questionnaire: MHSAA Sports Health Questionnaire instead of getting a new physical. (You may still choose to have a new Sports Physical performed and turned in.)
Pay-to-Participate: (Fees waived for 2020-21)
The one-time fee to participate in any sport is $60 (Cash or Money Order).
This fee, along with a completed Pay-to-Participate Form, must be submitted before an athlete will be allowed to compete in any sport.
The fee covers participation in all sports listed below for the entire school year.
PTP Scholarships: (Fees waived for 2020-21)
If an athlete qualifies for free school meals the $60 fee is waived.
If an athlete qualifies for reduced-pay school meals the fee is $30 (Cash or Money Order).
A Pay-to-Participate Form must be completed and submitted, along with Reduced Fee (if applicable) before an athlete will be allowed to compete in any sport.
