Welcome to East Kentwood Freshman Campus!
Our mission at East Kentwood Freshman Campus is to provide a unique learning experience for incoming 9th graders to come together as a community of learners from their various middle school experiences and create their identity as a class. As such, our building is rooted in building community through the implementation of Capturing Kids' Hearts and Restorative Practices as well as providing a great deal of support to help students get off to their best start in their first year of high school. We utilize a wide structure of social/emotional and academic supports to make certain that the whole child's needs are met so that they can flourish.
We look forward to partnering with you to provide the best experience for your scholar. If we can ever be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us

The East Kentwood Freshman Campus, together with parents and the community, will educate all students in a safe, secure environment. We are committed to excellence, equity and diversity in education. Our goal is for each student to master and apply the essential skills to be a successful, productive citizen.
We provide a stimulating learning environment that is clean, safe and orderly with an emphasis on academic achievement nurtured by positive relationships. We also emphasize ethical literacy since our students' success as adults will rely upon their intrinsic honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness. Our goal is for every one of our students to feel academically, emotionally, and socially connected to the total school program.
