ARCH After School Program

Academic enrichment

Recreation and the arts

Community and family services

Healthy relationships

The Kentwood Public Schools and City of Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department are proud to partner to offer the ARCH after school program, made possible through a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant and sponsored by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) in collaboration with Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLeap).

ARCH is designed to provide a comprehensive range of activities that meet the diverse needs of participating youth. Our program focuses on whole-child development, covering academic, social, emotional, physical, and mental wellness, as well as safety. We partner with local businesses and organizations to deliver a scope and sequence of activities that include literacy, arts and cultural awareness, career readiness skill building, youth development, nutrition, and health education.

Program Schedule

Our After School Program runs Monday through Thursday with the following schedules:

     Elementary: 3:59 PM - 6:29 PM

     Middle School: 3:04 PM - 5:34 PM

     High School: 2:31 PM - 5:01 PM

Important Notes

This is not a drop-in service. Regular attendance is required due to grant funding.

Please inform ARCH staff if your student will be absent. This ensures the safety and well-being of all participants.
