PEAKS Program

Parents, Educators, and Kids = Success

The PEAKS Program in Kentwood Public Schools is designed to provide advanced learning opportunities for students who are ready for additional challenge, deeper thinking, and enriched academic experiences. PEAKS supports students in developing their strengths through engaging instruction, meaningful problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.

Our goal is to create learning experiences that help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally while nurturing curiosity, leadership, and a love of learning.

What is PEAKS?

PEAKS is Kentwood Public Schools’ advanced learning program for students in grades 3–8. The program offers rigorous instruction and enriching experiences that encourage students to think critically, solve problems, explore new ideas, and apply their learning in meaningful ways.

Students in PEAKS engage in learning that may include:

Advanced academic experiences
Project-based learning
STEM opportunities
Creative problem-solving
Inquiry and research
Leadership and collaboration experiences
