Kentwood Public Schools – Schools of Choice (SOC) Program 2026-2027

Kentwood Public Schools (KPS) participates in the Kent ISD Schools of Choice (SOC) Program for students living outside the district.

Application Window:

• Opens: April 13, 2026

• Closes: May 15, 2026, at 4:00 PM

• Applications must be fully completed and clearly filled out to be considered.

Available Seats:

• Information regarding available seats will be available in mid-March.

Important Notes:

• Transportation is the responsibility of the parent; KPS does not provide bus services for SOC students.

• KPS may deny enrollment to applicants with a history of suspension or expulsion.

• Placement at a specific school building is not guaranteed.
