Excellence and Equity in Education
Dear Crossroads families,
Crossroads is a special place! It is my pleasure to serve as Principal. I have worked in Kentwood for more than 25 years with the last 16 being at Crossroads. During my time here, I have seen significant change for the better. This year is going to be no exception. We are in the middle of a complete redesign and the entire staff is excited about it. We are looking to do school different! We hope to transition into a competency-based education model where the majority of the education will be done with experiences. In addition to that, we are continuing our Workforce Friday initiative. We strive for all of our graduating students to leave with an industry recognized certification.
Our staff has a passion for Crossroads. We work hard for all students and pride ourselves in supporting students who desire extra support while they work toward graduation. Crossroads provides a safe, positive, and respectful environment designed to help students achieve their goals. Crossroads staff remain committed to connecting and building relationships with students. The culture of engagement at Crossroads remains focused on meeting every student where they are and getting them what they need.
If there is ever anything I can do for you, please reach out!
