The Arts at Kentwood Public Schools

For over 40 years, the arts have enjoyed a prominent place in the core curriculum at KPS. Every day of the school year, the arts are taught to over 7,000 children district-wide.

Parent & Community Support

Kentwood Band and Orchestra Boosters provides parent support for Kentwood Middle and High School instrumental music programs.  There are over 1,000 students registered in the instrumental music programs offered.

The Vocal Music Boosters provide support for Voice instruction.

The Fine Arts Festival

A fine arts festival is a bi-annual affair, featuring all KPS students in the performing and visual arts.

High School Art Gallery

The High School Art Gallery is one of a kind within public schools, displaying student-produced works of art in a professionally designed exhibit area.
