Your Active Directory password may have expired and/or needs to be changed. If you are coming into school you can change it at your PC. From home, please follow these instructions:

The field with someone@example.com can be in the following formats. Instead of 11111, use your employee ID#.

Examples of username that can be used

  • first.last@kentwoodps.org
  • KENTWOODPS\11111 
  • 11111@KENTWOODPS

The "Old password" field is the current password that has expired
The "New password" field is the new password that you would like to set
The "Confirm new password" field is the same password that was entered into the New password field
Changes have been made to simplify password management and increase security. 
Network passwords will be synced with Gmail, Synergy, and eFinance accounts. You will now have one password for multiple accounts. In an effort to increase security, network passwords will now expire every 84 days.. 

Password requirements:

  • At least 8 characters in length CANNOT repeat same character more than twice in a row
  • CANNOT contain your name or username
  • CANNOT use your previous password as your new password
  • Must include 3 out of 4 of the following: 
  • Lower case letter, 
  • Upper case letter
  • Number
  • Special character
