Meet Mr. Gibson 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Ian Gibson has accepted the position of interim principal at Crossroads. Mr. Gibson is currently Dean of Academic Affairs and has been working with Kentwood for more than twenty years. During that time, he has served in a variety of positions, including Safety Coordinator, coach, Dean of Students, and as an adjunct professor at Davenport University (teaching dual enrollment students). He has earned a Bachelor of Science from Grand Valley, an MBA from Davenport, and has his administrative certification.

Mr. Gibson has a passion for Crossroads. He has played an important role for students who desire extra support while they work toward graduation. In addition, he understands that Crossroads provides a safe, positive, and respectful environment designed to help students achieve their goals. He and the staff at Crossroads remain committed to connecting and building relationships with students. The culture of engagement at Crossroads remains focused on developing students through a project-based learning process.
