Hello, my name is Brian O'Hara. I am the Director of Community Education and Crossroads Alternative High School. I also oversee the Kentwood Public Schools aquatics program. I have worked in the Kentwood Public Schools since July of 2004. I served as the Director of Student Services for one year.

Previous to moving back to the Grand Rapids area I served for three years as Superintendent of the Big Bay de Noc School district. I have also served three different school districts as a secondary principal and three other districts in the capacity of middle school, high school and adult English as a Second Language teacher and been an Athletic Director for two years. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University and earned my Masters and Specialist degrees in educational administration from Central Michigan University.

It is a pleasure to work for Kentwood Schools. Our new community education/alternative education building is state of the art. We invite you to come and take a tour if you would like. There are many new programs in place and we encourage you to take advantage of all the community education class offerings that are available.
