Pinnacle Internet Viewer - Online Grades & Attendance

Kentwood Public Schools is proud to offer you Pinnacle Internet Viewer (PIV). PIV is a valuable tool to assist you in monitoring your student’s academic progress and attendance at school. It will enable you to access your student’s assignments, grades, attendance, and other educational information in real time.* We believe that the use of this service will allow you to be better informed and will provide you with the means to become more involved in your student’s education. Kentwood Public Schools believes that PIV will provide you with the information you need to open the lines of communication between you and your student, and with the school.

Your access ID's and PIN codes are for your use only. Do not share them with other parents, etc. Kentwood Public Schools strongly suggests that you DO share the access codes with your students, however, so that they may monitor their own progress.
Abuse of this site may result in the loss of access privileges. Abuse may include, but is not limited to: attempting to bypass site security, sharing access ID's and PIN codes with unauthorized users, and/or distributing information obtained on this site in such a manner as to detract from Kentwood Public Schools' reputation and/or interfere with its normal operation.
Information retrieved via the web-site or via automated E-mails should be regarded as non-official and non-binding in nature. Any specific questions, concerns, or information requests related to academic performance as related to eligibility, scholarships, class ranks, etc, should be referred to the appropriate building staff directly (teacher, guidance counselor, or principal).

* Kentwood Public Schools policy requires teachers of grades 6-12 to update their Gradebooks at least once per week. Due to a wide variety of classroom situations and instruction units, you will find that some teachers update grades on a more frequent basis. Occasionally, some units of instruction will take more than a week to complete. Attendance information is typically updated on a daily basis. If you have any concerns related to the frequency of updates, please contact the teacher in question directly, or the building principal.
