Programs & Activites 

At Valleywood, the staff and administration take great pride in all of the extracurricular opportunities for our students. An estimated 85% of our student body participates in some form of extracurricular education. We currently have nine clubs that cater to a wide variety of student interest. Some of these clubs are Art, Bowling, Cooking, Technology and Chess. We also have 14 interscholastic sports teams and a strong Intramural Program for sixth graders. 

In addition to athletics and clubs, Valleywood has a strong commitment to the arts.  We have three choirs, three orchestras, three bands and a Jazz Band. We compete in the Science Olympiad at Grand Valley State University. It is our belief that through these opportunities all students can feel connected and develop a sense of pride in representing their school.
