Scholarships              

Each spring, the Foundation awards several scholarships to accomplished and deserving students graduating from Kentwood Public Schools. In 2011, the awards were for $1500 each. The actual amounts awarded each year may vary.

In addition, we are proud to continue the tradition of our honorary and memorial scholarships.

• The Triangle Associates scholarship is a $2500 award to one outstanding student planning on pursuing a construction or construcation related degree.  
  
• The John & LaVonne Montgomery Scholarship is awared to a graduating senior planning to enter the fields of mathematics, life or biological sciences, medicine, or nursing.
• The Davenport Grant awarded to a graduating senior who will be attending Davenport in the fall.

All graduating seniors planning on pursuing higher education in the next year are encouraged to apply. Scholarships are awarded based on quality of the application and accomplishment of the student, both in school and in the community. Need may be considered as a factor at the foundation's discretion. Students may download the application forms here or pick up a copy from their guidance counselor's  office. Applications are due by March 1st. Awards are announced before the end of the school year.
