Giving to KPSEF

Memorial Gifts

Named scholarships and awards are not just for famous persons and corporations. Individuals may consider giving a contribution to the foundation in memory of a loved one or in honor of an esteemed person. Larger gifts can be used to establish an endowment named after your honoree, to fund an ongoing scholarship or educational grant. KPSEF scholarships are presented during high school graduation ceremonies each year. The honoree of a named scholarship receives public recognition year after year.
We suggest that an endowed scholarship or educational grant have an annual award value of at least $500. A variety of innovative methods are available to create and support an endowment for a community organization. Contact our marketing specialist for more advice.

The United Way

If you contribute to the United Way, either by check or by payroll deduction, you can specify that all or a part of your contribution be sent specifically to the Foundation. This is a great way for anyone who supports Kentwood schools to provide support for the foundation. Indicate "Kentwood Public Schools Educational Foundation" on your next United Way enrollment form.

Corporate Contributions

The Kentwood Public Schools Educational Foundation is proud to be community supported.  We welcome contributions from businesses and corporations in the Kentwood area. Due to our volunteer structure, close to 100% of any contribution will go to funding the endowment or a named award. Please contact our marketing specialist for more information.

Direct Contributions

Direct contributions to the Kentwood Public Schools Educational Foundation are welcome. In particular, we welcome contributions from alumni of the Kentwood Public School System. Whether you would like to give a sizeable amount, or only a few dollars, your contribution will be gratefully accepted.  Our mailing address is:

Tax Deductibility

The Kentwood Public Schools Educational Foundation is registered with the IRS as a charitable organization. All contributions to the Foundation are fully tax deductible.
