Prizes: DiAnn has purchased IPODs and photo key chains. We are trying to give more “larger” gifts. Possibly purchasing a WII or an XBOX 360 in addition to gas cards.

Entertainment: Pam J said that Student Council chose the Hypnotist. We need Junior Life Guards (last year they donated their services) from 11pm to 1:30 pm. Bill Giarmo got the basketballs for us. Pictures ran from 11 pm – 2 am.

Bag Check: Connie got 300 bags!

Publicity: Reminder cards/invitations need to be created. (samples are in the binders). Staff gets one invitation. A reminder card goes out two weeks before the Senior All Night Party for volunteers. Kathy Roos said the Senior Party Ad went in the Kentwood News and also the Falcon Flier. She suggested some posters in the cafeterias for the kids.

Volunteers: Sue reported that both shifts are full. She has all the required numbers of volunteers.

Tee shirts: Linda will contact Ad-America to print the winning design. T-shirts for parents will cost $5 each and Linda will start taking orders and sizes.

Horse Racing: Nothing to report.

Decorations: Cathy still needs CDs. (Lisa P will check to see if she can get CDs for the photos). Some Decorations have been purchased at Party City. Some EK art students are working on the silouettes. We need more Junior Parents to help decorate. A helium tank may possibly be donated from a local church. NOTE: Party Party donates back to EK when EK parents purchase at their store.

Fundraising: Shelly said that Steak and Shake Fundraiser raised $160. Carol reported that we got Yonkers for next year. We get $5 for every Booklet that we sell. We ARE scheduled for November 15, 2008 for next year. If we sell in the “top tier”, then we will also get a percentage of profit that day, too. Lisa suggested the White Caps event for next year. Kathy Roos suggested some possible Booster opportunities such as the Kiwanis “Detroit Lions versus the GR Media” event that is scheduled for April 25. The Boosters will pay $5/hour per person. The shifts are from 4-7pm and also from 7-10pm at the EK Fieldhouse. Another opportunity is on May 10 for Special Olympics. The pay will also be $5/person. Shifts are from 8 to 11 and then also from 11-1pm. Check in at the Stadium. NOTE: 500 Athletes and helpers are being fed that day and we need as many volunteers as possible.

Other: Pam wants a date that we can set up a table with the list of students that have already registered outside the cafeteria Date of May 6 and 7 was chosen. Pam took names of workers scheduled for 10 am to noon. Registration slips will also be passed out at this time. It was also noted that Rick’s secretary (Renee) has previously done a Senior Graduation and All Night Party display in the school showcase. We would like to do it again this year.
